Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on
Saturday expressed warm sympathy over the death of around 217 passengers
including seven crew members in a crash of Russian passenger plane.
Bound for Russian city
St Petersburg, the airliner flew from Sharm-al-Shaikh and crashed in Sinai
region.
All 217 passengers on
the Russian flight from Egypt died when the plane crashed in the Sinai
peninsula.
“Unfortunately, all
passengers of Kogalymavia flight 9268 Sharm el-Sheikh-Saint Petersburg have
died. We issue condolences to family and friends,” said a message on Russia’s
embassy’s Facebook page, referring to the flight carrying 217 passengers and
seven crew.
