Drivers in Dubai who have had a minor accident can now drive through a police station to get their police report without stepping out of their vehicle. The force said the whole process can be completed in three minutes.
The new idea has been set up by Rashidiya Police Station to cut time and effort for residents.

The report is needed to make a claim from a driver’s insurance company and also to fix the car.
Brigadier Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman, director of Rashidiya Police Station, said the new service will help Dubai residents save time as they won’t have to wait for 30 minutes for a police patrol to come to the scene.
“The service is just for minor accidents without casualties,” he said. “You just need to come to the police station and drive your car through a special cabin to get the police report within three minutes without stepping out of the vehicle. We want people to be happy and reduce the crowds in our police station.”
