The recently voted independent contender from Okara Riazul
Haq Juj has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) after weeks of rumors
and plundering by the opposition parties.
Juj met Chief Minister Punjab
Shehbaz Sharif on his invitation and broadcasted to officially join the ruling
PML-N party.
CM
Punjab had invited Juj on breakfast whereas Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)
organizer Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had also met and invited Juj again to join
PTI.
The
sources said PTI had offered Juj the post of Deputy Organizer Punjab and
membership of the core committee but he rejected them.
It
merits mentioning here that Juj contested the election for the National
Assembly seat in Okara as independent candidate after he was deprived of a
ticket by PML-N and yet managed to grab the victory.
Prime
Minister Nawaz Sharif called Juj after the election to congratulate him and
extended the invitation to join the PML-N party.
Juj had
thanked PM Nawaz and said the love for PML-N runs in his blood and that he will
always prefer it.
