Washington –
The United States and France on Tuesday settled to exaggerate airstrikes
against the militants operating in Syria, with both Barack Obama and Francois
Hollande repeating that Bashar al-Assad will “not be the future of Syria”.
Speaking a joint press conference
here at the White House, US President Barack Obama said that military
operations were being carried in Syria and Iraq to curb the hazard of intimidation,
adding that at least 65 countries were united to counter the growing threat of
the Islamic State.
He said that the Paris attacks
were “attack on the whole world”, adding that Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad
was killing his own people in the country. On his part, Hollande said that
France would not deploy its military in Syria, adding that the country would
conduct airstrikes in Iraq also. “We will not allow anyone to change our
world,” he said.
