Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said the
female assailant involved in the recent California shooting, Tashfeen Malik,
and her family left Pakistan 25 years ago. “They migrated to Saudi Arabia from
where she went to the US after marriage,” he added.
While speaking a
press conference Nisar said that Pakistan does not have any link to the
California female shooter. “We will support US under international law if
needed,” he added. “No American delegation has met either PM or CM Punjab in UK
regarding this issue,” he added.
“Islam is being defamed
in the West. The actions of an individual should not be used to paint a
community or religion,” the minister said. “Islam teaches peace and harmony.
