Voting for the third and
final phase of local bodies (LB) elections has initiated. The voting will be steered
in 12 districts of Punjab and six of Sindh, including Karachi. The voting initiated
at 7:30 am and would culminate at 5:30 pm.
The workers of Pakistan
Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have clashed in
Union Council 26, Narowal. Police has not been able to control the situation,
according to reports. “The Police higher authorities have reached the site and
are trying to take conrol of the situation,” media sources stated
