Imran Khan demanded Sindh Govt to release
immediately the Fix It campaigner, Alamgir Khan.
Alamgir is the leader of fix it campaign and had been arrested by
Sindh Police outside from the Chief Minister House.
He
had reached the CM House with a garbage collecting truck. Khan, who is also a
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member has been leading an aggressive campaign against
the civic agencies of the city for the last few weeks.
During
the campaign Khan fixed open manholes, cleaned walls and repaired roads along
with a few volunteers.
Imran
khan tweeted for the release of Alamgir Khan:
I demand Sindh govt immediately release the #fixit campaigner Alamgir. Is making govt aware of its duties & responsibilties a crime? 1/2— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) 25 February 2016
2/2 Instead of rectifying their ways & appreciating Alamgir for community service, Sindh govt is resorting to shameful dictatorial actions.— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) 25 February 2016
