As a minimum 35 Pakistani residents have been arrested
by Indian police in the desert state of Rajasthan for having inadequate
documents, according to the Indian media reports.
The Pakistanis, who move in
India through the Thar Desert via Munabav, were arrested in Ramdevra District
of Rajasthan.
The Indian establishments
claimed that they have visa for Mathura and Haridwar but not for Ramdevra. The
detained men were planning to visit the Baba Ramdev Temple where the Samadhi of
Baba Ramdev stands.
It is reported that these
people belong to Amarkot, Mirpur Khas and Tharparkar of Sindh province in
Pakistan.
The arrests took place a day
after Pakistan protested to India after capturing a man suspected of being an
Indian spy, generating a new political quarrel between the neighbors.
