PESHAWAR: At least eight people
including two police persons were killed and 16 injured in a suicide attack in
Charsadda on Monday.
Police have
confirmed the death graph, stating that the suicide bomber ragged through
Sessions Court in Tehsil Shabqadar.
RPO Mardan
confirmed it was suicide attack in which two policemen were also martyred.
The injured and
dead bodies were sent to nearby hospital.
“A woman constable
was also injured in the blast,” said DSP Fayyaz Khan, who also said the
explosion was a suicide bombing.
According to
police, the suicide attacker attempted to enter the court building but
detonated his explosives when he was stopped at the gates by policemen.
Police and security
forces have cordoned off the area.
Senior journalist Hamid Mir tweeted about this
