The
statue, highlighting Narendra Modi in a customary Indian greeting with folded
hands, will go on exhibition in London, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Mr.
Modi was involved in the creation of his wax statue and gave artists a session
at his home in Delhi.
Mr
Modi has an "enormous social media existence" and there is
"intense public interest" in him, the company said.
Madame
Tussauds said that the statue would allow guests to stand "shoulder to
shoulder" with Mr Modi and even take a selfie with him.
