Maria Sharapova must be penalized, says Rafael Nadal

Tennis star Rafael Nadal articulated that Maria Sharapova, who publicized that she was tested positive for a drug test at the Australian Open, should be penalized as an example to others.
He said Sharapova's positive test is a black eye on the sport. "It is terrible news for our sport, it is terrible because our sport must be clean and look clean. The good news is we have a good anti-doping platform”.
Sharapova admitted that she had been taking the drug since 2006 to help deal with a magnesium deficiency and other health issues, but wasn't aware the World Anti-Doping Agency had added it to the list of forbidden substances this year because she hadn't looked at the updated list.
Sharapova also received a temporary ban after she tested positive for meldonium, a substance, she has been taking since 2006 for health issues.
