Modi willing to sort out all disputes with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday his country was willing to sort out all unresolved disputes with Pakistan through two-sided conversation in an atmosphere ‘free from terrorism and violence’.
According to an announcement dispensed by India’s High Commission in Islamabad, Modi extended ‘warm wishes’ for Nawaz’s good health and well-being as well as for peace and progress for the people of Pakistan. “Greetings to the people of Pakistan on their national day,” Modi said on his official Twitter account.
In a message congratulating Nawaz Sharif on Pakistan Day, Modi stated India’s wish to build good neighborly affairs with Pakistan.
The greetings come at a time when the two neighbors are struggling to come close after years of bitterness and accusation. The two nations agreed to start a complete two-sided conversation in December last year but the process delayed after an attack on the Pathankot airbase in Indian Punjab.
