LAHORE – An elite meeting
on security conditions was held in Lahore on Monday (today) with Prime Minister
Nawaz Sharif as the chief.
The overall security and
law and order situation in the wake of Lahore tragedy was discussed in the meeting.
Punjab Chief Minister
Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan and other Government
representatives also attended the meeting.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif on
Sunday said that terrorists had targeted his sons, daughters, brothers and
sisters in Lahore and they would be taken to task at any cost. He said their
hearts bleed on Lahore tragedy, adding terrorists were committing cowardly acts
after facing their defeat.
The prime minister was
chairing a high level meeting at the Prime Minister’s House to review security
situation in the aftermath of Lahore incident.
