LAHORE - A lady traffic warden was kidnapped by unknown gunmen
while she was on her way home from the duty, a police official endorsed.
The police have arrested two suspects in association with the kidnapping.
They are also steering raids to arrest the main suspect and to recuperate the
lady warden.
Earlier, the North Cantonment police recorded a case against unknown
gunmen on the complaint of a sister of the lady warden.
The complainant told the police that Ifrah Bibi was coming back home from the duty in the cantonment area when she was kidnapped and taken to unknown places.
The victim Ifra had some property dispute with her in-laws,
police narrator Ali Nawaz told. He said that two suspects were being questioned
in association with the kidnapping.
According to the complainant, a brother-in-law of the lady
officer along with his collaborators kidnapped her when she was returning home
on Monday evening.
The lady had developed differences with her in-laws over property shares after the death of her husband.
